Their happiness and having a bond with someone is definitely the most important part. No doubt from them being safe of course I want them to have a shoulder to run too when they are feeling down or even when they want to explore . I respect and keep the parents structure of how they want their kids to be raised/ act.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had 2 cousins that I love dearly that have special needs and they taught me so much . I also worked in a home healthcare home called Stevens community where I worked with special needs kids and adult. Starting with patience and I also helped out at my School. I have experience with toddlers / infants / new borns/ and teenagers.
