A little bit about me

My name is Sandy, I’m 24 years old and I’m from Brazil. I have a degree in Pedagogy and I’ve always loved working with children. I consider myself a responsible, caring, and creative person.
I was an au pair in the United States for two years. This experience helped me become more independent, adaptable, and confident in my childcare skills.
Currently, I take care of a lovely baby during the week, and I continue to learn more about child development, routines, and the importance of a loving and safe environment. I’m also fluent in English and currently studying other languages like Korean, Spanish, and German.
I’m a calm and organized person, and I like to keep things clean and tidy. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching K-dramas, taking care of my health, and learning new things. I’m also very interested in healthy eating and staying active — I try to always be the best version of myself!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve had several experiences working with children both in Brazil and abroad. In Brazil, I did an internship at a preschool where I helped the teacher prepare lessons and supported her during class activities. I also did volunteer work at a daycare center with children aged between 4 months and 6 years old. I used to help with daily routines, feeding, playing, and making sure the children felt safe and cared for.

At home, I also helped my sister take care of my niece, which gave me even more hands-on experience with babies.

As an au pair in the United States, I cared for four children during my first year — a 4-year-old, a 3-year-old, and 1-year-old twins. In my second year, I’m taking care of a 4-year-old boy who goes to school most of the day, so I spend more time with the baby, who is now 1 year old. These experiences have taught me a lot about child development, patience, and the joy of being part of a child’s growth.
