"I have had the opportunity to work closely with Ms. Sara as her supervisor at Haymarket Children's Academy. Ms. Sara is a very personable and cares about all children that are under her care, as well as parents and staff at Haymarket Children's Academy. She also understands the importance of all job descriptions within the company. I highly recommend her for the nanny position she is applying to.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive environment where children can build confidence in their independence and decision-making. I believe every child deserves to feel valued, heard, and cared for, which is why I’m dedicated to providing emotional support that helps them thrive. By offering guidance and encouragement, I aim to empower them to explore the world with curiosity and resilience. My goal is to be someone they can trust and rely on while helping them grow both emotionally and intellectually. Being a part of their journey toward self-assurance and personal growth is what makes this role truly rewarding.
My experience with special needs children...
While working at Haymarket Children’s Academy, I had the opportunity to care for two children with special needs. One was a three-year-old boy named Israel with autism, and the other was a one-year-old boy also on the autism spectrum. Caring for both children was a deeply rewarding experience that taught me how to provide attentive, personalized care tailored to their unique needs. Through patience, understanding, and a structured approach, I successfully supported their development and daily routines, gaining valuable skills in working with special-needs children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite aspects of being a nanny is building genuine friendships with the children I care for, where they feel protected, safe, and truly heard. I love creating an environment where they can comfortably share their thoughts and emotions, knowing they can count on me for guidance and support. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a child light up when they learn something new or overcome a challenge, and I take pride in being part of that journey. Whether it’s teaching positive habits, celebrating achievements, or simply listening to their stories, I strive to be someone they can trust and look up to. Watching their confidence grow as they feel valued and cared for is what makes this role truly special. For me, it’s not just about caregiving—it’s about making a lasting impact on their lives and helping them feel loved and empowered to explore the world.
