My name is Sara and I was previously a nanny for a little girl but decided to change career paths and go into the culinary field. After cooking at a yacht club for the last 5 years I am ready to settle down with my boyfriend and have a more steady pace job. I am willing to cook and clean and of course make sure your child is well taken care of and has a smile on their face at all times! I am ready to get back to taking care of the little ones! Working in a kitchen has taught me so much about myself but has also shown me how dedicated I am to a job and how hard I work. Having this background I believe will be a benefit into transitioning back into being a caretaker and make me that much better of a person to care for your child.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

A few years back I took care of a little girl the age of 2 years old. My responsibilities were to wake her up and get her ready for the day, take her to gymnastics or to other fun events going on in the area, feed her all Her meals, bathe her and put her to bed. Ontop of her being my number one priority and making sure she was entertained and happy I was also responsible for running errands, food shopping, cleaning the house and doing dishes.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Coloring, arts and crafts, watching movies, yard games, swimming, going to the park, baking cupcakes and getting interactive in the kitchen, and finding local activities that will get the kids involved.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is watching a child grow and become themselves. I love watching their personalities shine. As much as I want to make a child’s world a brighter place, at the end of the day they end up teaching me so much about life and about making the world a better place.

With children with special needs but I am a patient person who would be willing to learn from them, work with them, and to provide the best care for that they need.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when we made ginger bread houses during Christmas time. It was so fun to let loose and see her get creative and to be proud of what she accomplished. The mess was worth it!
