What matters to me is that I always make sure the kids I nanny are comfortable and enjoy spending time with me. While having fun is nice, but having basic family structure is key. So I make sure to follow routines the parents have given me and enforce any rules the parents have.

I would have to say, it was when I was moving away from my hometown and the family I was nannying for threw me a small goodbye party. They thanked me for all my help and encouraged me to continue nannying. Just seeing the kids sweet little faces when I said goodbye reminded me how much they mean to me.
