I was a teacher and a assistant teacher in a preschool and a daycare and I was essentially doing baby sitting type of work however I also was doing some teaching like teaching them shapes, colors, numbers, the alphabet etc. -depending on the child and their age
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
coloring, painting, playing w play doh, playing with blocks and other kinds of toys, arts & crafts, maybe homework if needed :) playing in sand or water with these toys, watching a kid movie to allow the kids to unwind after possibly having alot of energy etc. (I am very creative)

I have cared for family and friends children who are on the spectrum. As well as dealing with under-diagnosed children in the daycare.
The most important part about being a nanny...
making the kids laugh and smile. seeing them playing or just being happy, just makes me feel like im doing something good because they feel safe with me and have fun
