My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have much experience with special need children but I always willing to learn and be familiar with the specific special needs, whether it’s a physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional condition.
The most important part about being a nanny...
While nannying for 4-year-old Max, I organized a backyard treasure hunt. Max, dressed as a pirate, was excitedly following the clues. One clue led him to the sunflower patch, where he found our neighbor’s cat, Mr. Whiskers.
Max, thinking Mr. Whiskers was guarding the treasure, politely asked the cat for permission. The cat just meowed, and Max found a shiny pebble wrapped in foil.
From that day on, Max called Mr. Whiskers “Captain Whiskers” and believed he was his pirate sidekick, adding a fun twist to our neighborhood adventures. It’s was the cutest thing!

Hello my name is Laurenn Morgan.
I did early childhood in high school so I’m very familiar with kids and being around them. I worked with children for pretty much 4 1/2 years, and I loved it. I’d love to start doing it again!
