I’m about to begin my sophomore year at Oklahoma State University, where I’m majoring in Animal Science. I’ve been working at Dutch Bros since 2023, but this summer I’m looking for a full-time babysitting job to help save up for rent and school expenses. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been a lifelong member of my church, where I’ve built strong, lasting relationships with many families. From ages 13 to 15, I spent three consecutive summers babysitting full-time for one family, gaining hands-on experience with children of various ages. Since I was 12, I’ve also volunteered regularly in the church’s preschool and nursery, helping care for and engage young children in a safe, nurturing environment. In addition, I have a younger sister with a rare genetic condition who requires special care and attention, and I’ve played an active role in helping my parents care for her.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’ve always loved spending time outdoors and enjoy taking kids to the local park for some fresh air and active play. I’m also a big fan of arts and crafts, it’s a fun and creative way to keep kids engaged. And of course, the occasional summer outing for ice cream or a special treat is always a highlight and something I love doing with the kids I babysit!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Although I’m only 19, I’ve always known I want to be a mom one day, and spending time with kids through babysitting or nannying feels like a meaningful way to gain valuable experience. I genuinely enjoy caring for children and see each opportunity as a chance to learn and grow. I also understand how challenging it can be for parents to juggle young children and full-time careers, and I love being able to help lighten that load by providing dependable, compassionate care.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with Down syndrome, autism, Turner syndrome, and more. Throughout all four years of high school, I was deeply involved in my school’s special needs program, helping students with homework, offering friendship, and spending quality time with them. I also have a younger sister with a rare genetic disorder called Maroteaux-Lamy Syndrome (Mucopolysaccharidosis VI), which causes multiple physical challenges such as scoliosis, dwarfism, carpal tunnel, and arthritis. Helping care for her alongside my parents has given me lifelong experience in supporting children with special needs, and it’s shaped me into someone who is patient, attentive, and compassionate.
