A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Sarah and I am looking for a part-time nannying job. I have over 8 years experience babysitting/nannying children ages from 2-13. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Biology and Chemistry in 2020 and have been working in a Pathology lab and Emergency Department since! I am a certified EMT and have CPR and BLS certifications as well. With all of that aside, I am a very compassionate and patient person who has been active my whole life. I would love to encourage your child to play outside, do arts and crafts and maybe safely cook with me! Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Volunteer work at Camp Sunshine
(Casco, ME) where I cared for and played with terminally ill children and their families. This was the most humbling experience I have ever had and pushed me to continue education in the medical field.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing outdoors, playing games, arts and crafts, reading with them, safely have them help me cook/bake, the list goes on!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Encouraging the children to be active! Life is not being behind a screen and I strongly believe the key to a healthy mind and body are using them! I would make it a priority to keep your child's mind and body active to continue healthy growth and a happy lifestyle.

My experience with special needs children...

I nannied a wonderful little girl with Down syndrome for 2 years before I went to college. I also worked with many children with special need's during my volunteer work at the Special Olympics and Camp Sunshine.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment would be when me and the 7 year old girl I would watch would go for walks to the ice cream shop near her house. We always had such great laughs, good talks, and played many games on the way!
