A little bit about me

I’ve had over 7 years of experience working with children in a volunteer setting. As a member of the National Charity League I had the opportunity to work with children, both with and without special needs. This experience sparked a passion for child care and child development, leading me to studying early education at UO, where I am currently a sophomore. I hope to gain more experience working directly with children in a home setting, as that’s the setting I hope to work in most.
I have a passion for working with children and fostering healthy development, as well as having fun! Typical activities I’d do to pass time, depending on the child’s age, include reading aloud, spatial awareness games, and enjoying pretend play!
In my free time, I love to read and can always be found with a book in hand. I’m also a huge fan of cooking, especially for others!
