More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Back in high school, 9th grade we had a class called child development and we had a preschool class on the first floor and we were assigned to a child to take care of throughout the 4 years. We came up with lesson plans for them, read to them, brought them outside, we were able to put them to sleep for nap time, and we had to communicate with the parents as well. It was a fun experience and I looked forward to it everyday.
After I graduated high school, I then got a job working at Froyo World In Wethersfield CT where I met a mother and her son, he was 4 years old at the time, They came in all the time for ice cream and her son was always so happy to see me and tell me about his day at school and what he learned. One day I asked if she was looking for anyone to watch her son because at the time I was looking for another job to make extra money, i told her had experience, and it so happened that she was. I ended up baby sitting him for a few years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities that I feel kids love is dress up, drawing and painting, the kids get so creative. Finding a fun book, read it to them but make a musical out of it. Outdoor activities I feel kids love a mini soccer ball game, a safe game of tag, eye spy, scavenger hunts. I feel activities should have at least a little bit of learning to them. Kids can have fun and learn at the same time. They'll retain more :)
