More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have provided nanny care both here in the United States and in Venezuela. In the U.S., I cared for a family with two young children, ages 2 and 4, for about 8 months, three times a week. My responsibilities included preparing meals and snacks, diaper changes, assisting with potty training, bath time, maintaining nap schedules, and keeping the children’s areas clean and organized. I planned engaging activities such as reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational games to support their learning and development.
In Venezuela, I also helped care for 3 children for about almost 3 years with daily routines, homework support, meal preparation, and supervising playtime. I ensured the children were safe, entertained, and following structured routines throughout the day.
In both roles, I managed multiple children at once, maintained a safe and nurturing environment, and supported families by being reliable, attentive, and consistent with the children’s needs and schedules.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
enjoy planning fun and engaging activities that help children learn and grow. I love reading books together, doing arts and crafts, coloring, and creative play that encourages imagination. I also enjoy outdoor activities like going for walks, playing at the park, riding scooters, and organizing little games to keep them active.
I like doing educational activities based on their age, such as practicing letters, numbers, shapes, and simple learning games. For younger children, I enjoy sensory play, singing songs, and interactive storytelling. I also love helping with puzzles, building blocks, and activities that develop motor skills.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is making kids feel safe, happy, and comfortable being themselves. It’s not just about watching them it’s about building a bond with them and being someone they trust and feel excited to be around.
Being patient and understanding is really important because every child is different and has their own personality and needs. I think it’s also about helping guide them, teaching them new things, and being supportive while they learn and grow.
To me, being a nanny means caring for the kids like they’re family, making sure they feel loved, and creating fun, positive memories while also keeping them safe and cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nannying memories was when we decided to start a little “garden project” in the backyard. The kids were so excited to plant flowers and vegetables, but they were definitely more interested in the dirt than the plants. At one point, the 4 year-old was proudly showing me a handful of worms like it was treasure, and the 6 year-old insisted we needed to water the plants every five minutes “so they grow faster. We ended up with more soil on our clothes than in the pots, but watching how proud they were when the first little sprouts started coming up was the best part. Every day after that, they would run outside to “check on our babies.” It was messy, chaotic, and full of laughter but such a sweet bonding experience I’ll always remember.
