Hello everyone! My name is Savana Harrison and l am a 21 years old. I'm a rising senior at Albright College who is home for the summer. I have had years of babysitting experience, starting at 16, as well as being an activity assistant at a senior living facility for both personal and memory care residents. Here I was able to share educational and social experiences through activities. Helping the residents have fun, participate, and socialize throughout their time there. My ultimate goal of babysitting/ nannying is to help your children accomplish their milestones all while building a bond, having fun, and creating a safe space to do so. Is when I got a facetime call while I was away at college from the mother of the child I nanny. She was showing me her daughter with a guitar and microphone. The child then took the phone to say "look, I'm acting like you". Reflecting on the time when I would have a little "concert" whenever she would feel upset or sad in hopes to distract her.
