I have years of experience caring for children through various babysitting and nanny positions. For over 10 years, I’ve also volunteered in my church nursery twice a month. In addition, I used to work as a makeup artist and often hosted face painting events—including at children’s birthday parties, which was always a fun and rewarding experience.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing dress up and using our imagination to create fun stories. I also love involving the children in hands-on activities that include using their senses. As well as arts and crafts, which may include finger painting or playing with sand or even baking simple, kid, friendly things together. I also love getting them involved with screen, free activities, such as going outdoors, allowing them to explore, and get them familiar with their outdoor surroundings. As well as making it a fun experience and using chalk to do hopscotch or just draw pictures on the sidewalk/driveway. As well as going on walks, or taking them to the park or swimming. Anything that your child likes I would love to adjust with them and make our time together fun.

Not only being there for the kids and caring for them and creating a fun environment. But also being therrr for the parents and communicating with them as well and bonding with them, and being supportive as I am the one help care for their little ones.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is when I nannied for this one little boy, he was 3 at the time, and we were baking muffins for his hands on activity, as well as it being a reward and having it for his snack, and I was helping him crack the egg in the bowl, and he dumped the whole bowl of the muffin mix over both of our heads lol!! Yes it was messy but he was laughing and having fun, and messes like that are easy to clean up, and we still had mix leftover to make more later! So in the end we still got to ‘have our cake and eat it too!’ While having fun in the process!
