My relevant childcare experience includes working as a professional nanny, lead preschool teacher, and childcare center administrator. Throughout these roles, I have provided hands-on care for children of various ages, supported their developmental milestones, planned engaging and age-appropriate activities, maintained daily routines, and built strong relationships with children and their families.

Even in my administrative positions, I remained actively involved in the classrooms, assisting teachers, supervising children, and providing care when needed. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love keeping children engaged through fun, creative, and hands-on activities! Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, baking, sensory play, reading books, music and movement, outdoor adventures, nature walks, library story times, and imaginative play. I also enjoy planning seasonal activities, exploring local parks, and incorporating age-appropriate learning into everyday experiences. I believe children learn best through play, so I love finding ways to encourage their creativity, curiosity, independence, and confidence while making lasting memories together!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is building a genuine relationship with the children and their families. You're becoming part of their everyday lives, and I think that's something really special! I want the children in my care to feel safe, loved, and comfortable being themselves. I love getting to watch them grow, learn new things, and reach those little milestones that are actually such big moments. I also think having good communication with parents is so important. At the end of the day, I want parents to feel confident knowing their children are happy, cared for, and in good hands while they're away!

My experience with special needs children...

Throughout my experience as a nanny and early childhood educator, I’ve had the opportunity to care for children with a variety of developmental needs, including autism, nonverbal communication, speech and language delays, and Down syndrome. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, understanding, and recognizing that every child is unique. I enjoy finding creative ways to connect with children, encourage communication, support their independence, and celebrate their individual milestones. I believe in meeting children where they are, creating a loving and inclusive environment, and working closely with families to provide consistent, personalized care.
