A little bit about me

Im a 19yo who has years of experience with babysitting. Ive been babysitting my neighbors kids since I was about 8years old but I didn’t officially start babysitting & getting paid for it until I was 16 years old. I’ve taken care of my Nephew since he was a new born for my sister while she works. He is now 4 years old. Im great with always having the kids in my sight at all times & with older kids I like to take them outside to play outside for fresh air & sunlight if its a good day. Im very hard driven & have a great work ethic & I could provide a reference from my last babysitter employer If needed. I really enjoy what I do & I’ve always wanted to work with kids & babysitting is the perfect job for me at the moment.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was volunteer at the Ronald McDonald house when I was 12 until I was 13. I was in charge of making some of the kids meals, I use to read them stories & I use to also sit in their rooms with them & essentially I was their “babysitter” until their parents came back from work or from running errands.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to build forts with the kids
I like to do movie nights
I like when theres a park near by that I can take them too to let them get in some exercise.
I also enjoy getting coloring books or puzzles to do with the kids as well

The most important part about being a nanny...

The best part of being a nanny is getting to build a close bond with the kids you take care of. It’s fun to watch them grow, learn new things, and explore the world around them. No two days are the same, and there’s always something new to laugh about or celebrate. As a nanny, you become an important part of the family, helping out and being someone the kids can trust and feel safe with. It can be hard work, but the love and smiles you get in return make it all worth it.

My experience with special needs children...

I haven’t had an experience with any children with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nannying moments was when the little girl I cared for put on a “dance show” for me in the living room. She dressed up in a sparkly tutu, grabbed a hairbrush for a microphone, and announced, “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the show!” She danced, sang a made-up song about cookies, and even took a bow at the end. I clapped like crazy, and she gave me a big grin and said, “You’re my best audience ever.” It was such a simple moment, but so full of joy and imagination—I couldn’t stop smiling
