A little bit about me

My name is Shakearé and I am an experienced Sitter of all ages, my core experience being with infants and toddlers! I nannied all throughout high school and college for three different families, one of them that I worked with from the birth of the child as the family’s night nurse. I have a personal connection to childcare, because I am also a mother. I took a break from childcare while I had my son who is now 15 months old, during which time I had a corporate work from home job, but I am now looking for a family that I can provide care for that would be comfortable with my son coming along with me. I am in the process of obtaining my doula license so that I can get back to my true passion-children!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a night nurse for a family where the mother was experiencing postpartum depression. I cared for the baby from 10:00pm to 6:00AM daily and worked closely with her doula to create the best care plan possible to help mom get better without sacrificing key moments in the 4th trimester.
