"Shamice filled in on very short notice (overnight) in January when our regular nanny was unable to discharge her duties due to family circumstances. She made herself available in no time, and was very flexible in terms of working hours, which proved a blessing as my husband and I had heavy workloads during this period. Shamice was very quick at transitioning into her new role, and very ably and independently took over the role of our regular nanny. The learning curve was short and she established quickly an excellent connection with all three kids (age 9, 7 and 2). Her good spirits and enthusiasm helped the kids through this period without any hiccups. She also proved she was able to work with limited oversight, taking appropriate initiative wherever it was needed.
