More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to teach at the learning experience in north Brunswick I’ve dealt with infants there and partially toddlers. I also taught at Lightbridge academy where I’ve dealt with toddlers . I’ve also helped out with family members who have children with disabilities. So working with children comes naturally to me.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some indoor activities I’ve done with the children are making the parents cards , clothing, ornaments, or anything in that nature when it comes to a specific holiday. Or we would learn how to write/scribble hold certain things that are a certain weight. Outdoors we would do water play , running games, bubbles inside and outside just to name a few. We weren’t allowed to take the kids outside in the cold but we did learn about the different weathers and the temperature and textures.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing about being a nanny is making sure you build that trust and a really good connection with the and the families your working for.

My experience with special needs children...

I haven’t specifically worked with special needs children inside of a building or school, but I’ve worked with them inside of my family because we have special needs children that we all take turns helping with. We teach them colors, numbers, words, animals how to say certain words how to say their names etc…

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when my kids would ask their parents can I go on certain trips with them for vacation which was beautiful because the parents actually wanted me to go. Also I have a lot of custom made things from my kids as well that I’ll always cherish . Every morning kids from different classes would line up just to come say Gm hello Ms. S .
