Hello my name is Shani! My family would describe me as reliable, patient, fun, and loving. I am very passionate about creating safe, fun, and nurturing environments where kids can grow and learn. I have been a substitute teacher for a year and a half now. I sub for early start, elementary (all grades) and middle schools all across stafford county. I am also the oldest with 5 younger siblings. My youngest siblings are a set of twin boys who are 1 years old. I do not have any nanny experience except for babysitting for a few family friends. However, I absolutely love working with children, and I have no doubt that I have qualified experience for what you are looking for! The most important part about being a nanny...

I would say the most important part is child safety. You are trusting me with your child and it is important that I do my part in keeping your child/ren in a safe environment. Communication is another important part. Making sure that everything is transparent, whether it’s sharing concerns or milestones.

My experience with special needs children...

As a substitute teacher I have worked in a few level 2 classrooms. It takes a little patience with some of them but when they get comfortable, they are amazing!
