Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have babysat and nannied as a teen prior to becoming a day support specialist and caregiving for special needs adults! I come from a big family with lots of nieces and nephews. I also have a 10 month old daughter currently who loves to walk already and show us how independent she can be! I am CPR and First Aid certified both for infants and adolescents! I work really well with younger ages and with pets.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
We love going outside and exploring our local parks or staying in doors and playing with learning toys. We love to play pretend and do arts and crafts, music is always the best remedy and dancing is highly encouraged!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being patient, understanding, open and calm! I strongly believe in actively listening to little ones. All they want to do is communicate and all we have to do is listen. I know it can be hard mom and dad, managing your whole lives and this precious little mind too… that’s why I’m here!!!
