"Sharmaine is the absolute best! Our kids love her and she is always bringing new experiences for our kids. She teaches and has great outing ideas with the kids. She is professional and fun. She does a great job of communicating as well. I would highly recommend her. We still have her from time to time when she is available, definitely happy we found a trustworthy and reliable nanny."

"Sharmaine is AWESOME! We've known Sharmaine for over a year as she was my daughters day care teacher. In March 2020 she looked after my daughter (who was almost 2 at the time) at our home during the time Corona started. My daughter was always excited to see Sharmaine everyday she came over. Sharmaine was always punctual and brought over fun activities - which she purchased out of her own pocket. She brought/bought over coloring supplies, art books, paint, books, bubbles, hula hoops - to just name a few. She would also spend at least an hour outside with my daughter so that she wasn't cooped up in the house all day. My daughter loved going outside to play on her water table with Sharmaine! Diaper changes were frequent and there was no screen time. My daughter even learned colors in Spanish thanks to Sharmaine as well! I would strongly recommend Sharmaine for any daycare or as a private nanny or babysitter."

I enjoy creating activities that encourage growth and creativity while ensuring their well-being. My focus is always on building trust, listening to their needs, and fostering a positive atmosphere.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with the child and their family. It’s essential to provide a safe, nurturing environment where the child feels supported and valued. Being reliable, patient, and attentive helps create a bond that allows the child to thrive, learn, and feel secure.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with disabilities, creating a supportive and inclusive environment tailored to their individual needs. I focus on patience, understanding, and adaptability to help them feel comfortable and engaged. I enjoy finding creative ways to help each child participate fully in activities, promoting both their development and sense of belonging.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when a child I’d been caring for finally learned how to write his name. Seeing their excitement and pride in accomplishing it on their own was incredibly rewarding. Moments like these remind me how meaningful it is to be part of a child’s growth and confidence-building journey.
