A couple years ago I brought one my nanny kids a Christmas present. He was five at the time, and he was so moved and grateful for his gift that he wanted to give me something. So he went outside in his pajamas and came back in with generic looking rock. He brought it to me saying "This is for you, because I know you like rocks." I do collect rocks and crystals and I was touched that he remembered that. This rock was just an ordinary rock from the flower bed outside his house, but it immediately became special when he picked it out for me. That boy is 10 now and I only just recently retired from being his nanny, but that rock still sits on a special shelf with all my favorite crystals.
