A little bit about me

I am 29, grew up babysitting for many families in high school, college and during my graduate studies. I live in Uptown with my fiance, our dog & 2 cats. I am looking for support the right family long term for at least the next year with childcare help. I also am a student of the markets & have classes during the mornings so I will need that time free. I am also available for occassional date night help, just as long as I have a 1-2 week notice to make sure my partner and I don't have anything planned. BA in Biology from Wesleyan University, MA in Biomedical Sciences from Roosevelt University, Certified NLP Master Trainer. I love to mentor, coach & assist with projects & homework as well. I used to tutor while in school so I am very open and willing to support with that where needed.

In high school I babysat in the summer for local families in MI where I grew up. College I took babysitting gigs to supplement. I now have 3 nieces (age 3, 1, and 1) and a nephew (age 5) that I used to care for regularly when my sisters needed it while in school. I babysat for a nice family in Lakeview (2 twins) for about 2 years while I was studying in graduate school

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Swimming, playing music, biking, museums, arts & crafts, reading, learning games, getting out to the parks & playgrounds.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having a family where I feel comfortable being around mom and dad. Open and honest communication is important to me. Also that the kids are impacted positively by me in some way and I can support them along their journey to growing older into conscious, kind and smart adults :)
