At child care centers including Warrensburg Christian School (formerly known as ECOC), Tiny Treasures (currently closed), Our Lady of the Presentation Early Childhood Center in Lee’s Summit, and the UCM Child Care Center at Foster Knox. I was previously employed as an Early Head Start Family Advocate at Center for Human Services in Sedalia, MO. I am currently employed as a Parent Educator in the Warrensburg School District Parents as Teachers program.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Letting them learn through their favorite kinds of play! I enjoy giving opportunities to learn in daily routines, through getting messy, playing outside, and reading lots of books 😄

I believe it’s offering the chance for children to receive live, care, and learning experiences while being in a safe place for parents’ peace of mind as well ❤️

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with several children who are on the autism spectrum throughout my career experiences, and I have worked with several children who had specific dietary needs including but not limited to PKU, food allergies, and celiac disease.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I honestly cannot pick a specific moment because I’ve had so many! Getting to see how children figure out the world around them and have their “aha!” moments is so rewarding!
