Hello, I’m Cassie . I moved to New Jersey 6 months ago as a live in nanny to a wonderful family and I’m currently seeking for my next nanny opportunity with a nice family. I’m a caring , patient, compassionate , active and organized person. During my free time I enjoy taking walks , hiking and reading . I was raised in a very strict Christian household ( my late grandfather was a pastor) so I also enjoy going to church and listening to gospel music. I’ve been working with children for the past 6 years and been working with infants for the past 4 years which has been amazing, being there when they take the first step or when they say their first word or just when they do cute stuff . I find joy in working with children , watching them evolve into amazing people and being a good mentor in a child’s life . Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a volunteer before in school for children with special needs where one of my nieces went to . It was a good experience and it was also a way for me to help my niece at the time to get familiar with the school, be comfortable and make sure she’s good because she was not okay with people she didn’t know.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing arts and crafts , dancing, building forts , playing in the park, panting , baking and dressing up

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is to have love for children and to really care for them , understanding that it’s not always going to be easy, there will be moments when they cry , moments when they’re happy and moments when they’re just moody but you always have to be patient, understanding, be there in every situation ,try to be positive , enthusiastic, have fun with them and keep them safe at all times .

My experience with special needs children...

I have a niece and a nephew that have special needs and I help them now and then when I’m around and in 2021 I volunteered at my nieces School for kids with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when my 8 month old baby took her first steps and kept falling, I took a video and sent it to her mother and we went out that day to celebrate her steps.
