A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Skye I am 25yrs old and just moved to East orange! I have been unemployed for almost one year due to Covid. I used to work at a private school grades pre-K to eighth grade. The school was called the French American Academy located in Jersey City. I worked there for about two years where I was giving my own group of kids (1st graders) to look after. While coming up with my own assignments and activities, I was also bringing them to parks, putting them down for naps, and helping with their lunch. I worked with pre-K, first grade, and second grade... I sometimes with sub before the older classes if a teacher was absent: and I also worked a little in the main office as well answering phone calls responding to the emails from the parents....ect. As I am working at the French American Academy I have been nannying since I was the age of 16 I have now I need many different families and could use any one of those family as a reference if needed.

The most important thing about being a nanny is letting the kids know that you are their friend, they can trust you, that they only want your best interest. But while doing all this it doesn’t mean we can’t have fun and have a great amazing day

My favorite nannying moment is when I was able to take a brother and sister to a Museum of history in New York right before Covid where they absolutely enjoyed it because they’ve never gone to a museum like that before. I was able to take many pictures and send them to their families and we had an amazing long day at the museum
