Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I throughout my life have babysat younger cousins and siblings. I also currently volunteer with elementary school kids after school where we play and do homework. Unfortunately that activity takes up my Thursdays but I am free every other day of the week.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Depending on the child’s interest and age I like to follow their lead and then offer fun self directed activities in a prepared environment. I also put an emphasis on imaginative play, storytelling, and time in nature (though I am always down for a chill movie while it rains)
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have experience with special needs children. Though I myself have A.D.D and am dyslexic so I do know of some knowledge there.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I was 10 I was at the park and two younger kids came up to me (I think the older one was around 4 and the younger one was 2) and I did what I do best, I played with them. When I was leaving their dad gave me some money and told me he appreciated me for occupying his kids and giving him a break. I just like hanging out with kids and watching them grow
