During the summer, I volunteered with the City of Coconut Creek to provide a fun summer camp experience to children of school age. I was placed with middle schoolers, who found it easier to relate to someone of a similar age, which made it an unforgettable summer for me.

I love doing anything creative, from art projects to baking. I’ve found that creativity can be a wonderful emotional regulator for kids, while also helping them learn, grow, and build confidence in themselves and their skills.

It is always important to me that the kids I nanny learn something. Whether it be a life skill or a life lesson. My role in their lives is not only to care for them but also to guide them, so that they can lead good lives and be good people.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with a micro preemie born at just 26 weeks. I have spent time ensuring that she can reach milestones at a pace that is both safe and sustainable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Some of my favorite memories of kids that I have nannied are our pool days. It is so easy to get stuck in the same routine of being inside and learning, so going outside and spending 1-2 hours in the sun, having fun in the pool, has always been a good memory.
