Hi, I’m Karen and I just moved to Connecticut last week, bringing with me many years of experience as a nanny and as a preschool teacher. I am an active nanny and like to keep myself and children active as well so it is important the family I work for allow freedom to explore parks, museums, libraries, toy stores, hiking trails, farms etc. I am also busy with activities especially art, nature, science and cooking.
I believe in positive discipline and do not want to work for a family who spanks or yells a lot. In addition to being great with your child/children, I offer light housekeeping and love ALL pets. I am also comfortable with preparing meals and running errands if needed.
My availability is wide open. I am looking for either, two part time jobs, or one full time position. I am also interested in nanny share. Unfortunately, due to back problems I am not looking for work in infant care.
