What matters to me is providing your family with the support they need where they need it most. Giving these kiddos individualized, quality and loving care; being a trusted member of their “family”. Parents should have peace of mind while they are away from their kiddos and the kiddos should feel safe and loved.
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have a lot of special needs children experience, but I was a direct care caregiver for a year+ for developmentally disabled adult women. It was challenging but also very rewarding.
