I have many years of experience in the following, working at daycares , before and after school programs, preschool teacher, nanny and working in a public school with many age groups as well as being a mom of three. I took care of newborns and toddlers before I even became a mom. I think that regardless of how I raised my own children it’s important to reinforce what method of parenting the parents want.

I enjoy reading to children of all ages, yes even babies. I like to plan crafts and work on skills with them through play. I enjoy taking them on walks to parks and exploring their environment whether it being inside or outside.

The most important thing is always safety. Another important thing is communication with the parents and to have consistency for the child/children.

I have worked with several children on the spectrum in different environments such as in a classroom or one on one at a child’s home. I have several years experience with this.

One of my favorite things to see is the children succeed in their goals whether it’s learning how to walk, holding a pencil or being invited back to high school graduations to see them graduate. I love to see them with that excitement of learning something new no matter the age.
