Ive worked with kids in many capacities, from swim coach, to nursery teacher, to special needs care, to summer camp staff, to daycare manager! My specialty is infant care and thats what id ultimately like to do. Ive been a nanny for the past 4 years and think ive found my niche! Ive really been able to find my care style, working alongside the wonderful parents Ive had, learning how to "gentle parent" through those tough toddler years. Being dependable and competent is important in order for parents to have the freedom to focus on their work. The most important part about being a nanny...

Being dependable and trustworthy. Having someone you can trust is instrumental for you to be able to focus on work without worrying if the kids are safe, physically and emotionally. Not to mention your home and your pets. Its also important that you can count on my arrival every day. I have only called in sick twice in the last 3 years because I know how difficult it is to scramble at the last minute to find care so youre not missing work obligations.

It would be impossible to narrow it down but Ive often found myself in amazing moments that bring tears to my eyes. Moments filled with laughter and joy, the kind that make you stop in your tracks and want to savor every little detail because happiness suddenly seems so simple through the eyes of the kids youve come to love.
