A little bit about me

My name is Stephanie, I am 28 and have a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, with a concentration in infants, toddlers and preschool from Auburn University. I was born in Hawaii, moved to Singapore for 7 years and England for 3 before moving to Florida at the age of 13. I have my Director's Certificate through the state of Colorado and have worked myself up from Director of Curriculum to Director of a Preschool in less than a year. In addition to being in charge of a preschool, I also have been the Lead Teacher in numerous classrooms ranging from the age of 2 months to 5-year-olds. I have recently left my position as Director to pursue other opportunities to advance my career and pursue my end-goal of opening my own Early Learning Center.

I absolutely love kids. They bring me so much joy and happiness. I believe we can change the world through our children; we just need to give them a chance. I love to watch their "wheels turning" inside their little brains. Their brains are like sponges, so why not expose them to as much as possible? I am very hands on and education based.

I am very sensitive and am blessed with a talent to be able to read the child and what they need, even if they cannot talk. I am a happy, positive, down-to-earth person. I am extremely passionate about early learning and want to teach as many as possible!
