A little bit about me

My name is Stephanie and I am hoping to help support families with children and/or adult family members in the Virginia Beach area. I recently moved back to Virginia Beach after living in the midwest the past 35 years. I have a masters in public health with a focus on community health education. My professional experience includes health education for both adults and children in community based settings, predominately in the area of emotional and logistical support for the maternal-child population. Most recently, I have been providing care in a hospice setting for end-of-life patients as a licensed massage therapist. Although I don't have any recent nannying experience per se, I am a 57 year old recent empty nester who has raised two children from birth into early-adulthood and have spent most of my career supporting mothers and families of young children. Raising my children is my proudest accomplishment and I miss it terribly, I look forward to hearing how I can best support you.
