Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I usually try to plan activities according to the interests of the children I am working with. I enjoy so many different activities with children. I enjoy listening and dancing to music or making our own instruments. I enjoy sensory play activities and preparing those sensory play activities. I enjoy cooking\baking with children. I enjoy reading and singing to children. I enjoy pretend/dramatic play. I enjoy playing outdoor and indoor games. I enjoy going on scavenger hunts and learning about nature. I enjoy crafting and art. I can find fun in almost any activity.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is loving and caring for the children as if they were your own. When you love and care for children, you stop seeing your job as just a job. You care about the children's happiness and overall well being and you put their needs before your own. When you love the children, you go home and do research on how to best meet the needs of the children in your care. You don't stop at meeting simple standards, you go beyond what is required of you.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite memories was going to Cumberland island with the children I worked with. It was a long, but enjoyable day. We went out on their Father's boat, saw the wild horses on the island, walked the trail to the beach, enjoyed the beach, and learned some of the history of the island.

Jenyfer V. - Seeking Work in Jacksonville

Babysitter Available in Jacksonville, FL: Jenyfer V.

Hi, my name is Jenyfer, and I am the oldest sister in my family. I have been helping take care of children since I was 12 years old, which has given me many years of hands-on experience with kids of different ages. I am currently 22 years old and truly enjoy caring for children, helping them feel safe, happy, and supported.

Most of my babysitting experience has been through my church, where I have helped families by watching and caring for their children. I am patient, responsible, caring, and understanding, and I always try to create a positive and loving environment for the kids I care for.

I take my responsibilities seriously and understand how important trust is when caring for children. I would love the opportunity to help and support your family.

I’m from Virginia Beach! I moved to Jacksonville a year ago and I’m loving it so far. I have 7 nieces and nephews back at home so I’ve been working with children for a while but with pay wokring with children I’ve been experienced for 2 years now. I’ve worked with children ranging from 6 months old all the way up to 13 so I’m comfortable with all ages. I currently work part time with a 3 year old with autism so I have a bit of experience with that as well.

I am full time mom whose children are already grown up. Now I am looking to apply my experience taking care of other kids and make some profit of it. I used to take care of other little kids while my kids were growing up and that was a good experience for me. I prefer Spanish speaker family.
Bianca L. - Seeking Work in Jacksonville

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Jacksonville, FL: Bianca L.

I've been mostly a stay at home mom to 2 amazing and very different daughters, 16, 13. There's so much more about me and looking after your child(ern) and how I would respect that as a privilege. Not to mention, my age says 41 but I say 27 sometimes 85 :) Meaning, I still have a lot of fun but I also have had enough of it that I have rules, boundaries and expectations. I would NEVER disrespect ANY parent's wishes unless it was harmful to the child (ren). I am a big believer in fairness, forgiveness and 2nd chances. I have at least 5-7 children of all ages that I play an active "mom* role in their lives and some call me mom. I very much enjoy sharing time with kids and playing Barbies or cars or even try to act like I know what I'm doing playing Minecraft. I will be CPR CERTIFIED in the next week but did not want to lie initially. Please, just give me a call. You will definitely know after we speak if I would be a great fit for you and your family. Thank you.
