Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing circle time with my kids which include teaching them their numbers (1-20), alphabet, colors and shapes. Aside from education, I believe there should always be a balance in daycare! We also enjoy blowing bubbles, playing outside on the playground and reading their favorite story books!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the children along with the parents are comfortable with you and building trust with them. In order to build trust, the best thing to do is to COMMUNICATE! In my eyes, there is no such thing as overly communicating especially when a child is in the care of someone other than mom, dad or family.
My experience with special needs children...
I have not yet cared for children with special needs, but I am certainly not opposed to it! Every child needs care, education and love no matter the circumstance!
