The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children feel supported, valued, and free to be themselves. Building strong, trusting relationships with both the kids and their families means everything to me. I believe in nurturing the whole child—emotionally, socially, and developmentally.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with autism, speech and language delays, sensory processing challenges, and ADHD. I’ve supported children both in-home and in school settings, using visual schedules, sensory tools, and positive reinforcement. I’m patient, consistent, and truly passionate about helping every child feel safe, understood, and successful.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a little boy I worked with surprised me with a handmade card that said, “You’re my favorite!” We had spent the afternoon building a blanket fort and reading books inside with flashlights. It reminded me how the smallest moments can mean the most to children—and to me too!
