More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I had the privilege of being a toddler teacher at Primrose School in West Carmel. It was here that I developed my love for child care. I have also taught a two week summer art enrichment course with a co-teacher with the grade levels of first through fourth graders.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy participating in indoor and outdoor activities with children. Getting a feel for their imagination and what they enjoy and letting it call out my imagination so we can bond through playtime.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What is very imperative in the role as a nanny in my eyes is not only safety, but emotional safety where children are free to show up as their authentic self because they feel safe to do so. I feel I am here to help guide them on their journey of being themselves, encouraging them in their pursuits, and having fun while doing so.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a little brother with special needs who is 10. I am open to learning how to care for your child and their specific needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would have to be when a child I was caring for decided we should dress up and go for a walk after a trip to the “grocery store” (the pantry). I realized to myself why don’t I do this more often! I enjoy moments when I can learn from children while they are also learning from me.
