Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
During my senior year of high school [phone number hidden]) I volunteered in the daycare center that our school offered to students and school district staff and I was in the infant/toddler room. I have 6 siblings, 3 (ages 5, 8, 10) of which I cared for until I moved into my own apartment in 2015. In 2021, I had the opportunity to be a teacher at a preschool in Albany, OR. I was the teacher for the infant/toddler room and I had 5 wonderful kiddos in my class, my youngest was a year old and my oldest was 3 and getting ready to move into the preschool class. I enjoyed putting together activities and planning the curriculum. Other than that, I have 2 amazing nephews that I’ve babysat when my sister needed some help.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Any! If it’s a bit of a messy activity and weather permits it we could always go outside. During the summer, we could do water play and if you’re comfortable with it we could also do little field trips or park days.
