I am a mother/ grandmother.
I love children! I have lived in Texas all my life . My son and his wife , talked me into relocating to Harrisonburg and becoming a nanny to their new baby son . I kept him his first year and he will get to stay at home for a season with his dad , and now has a new baby brother, but I still keep him often.
I am excited for them and I am looking for another new baby . I really enjoy babies and children. I have kept several children through the years with my boys.
I would enjoy to be able to keep him or her at my house but if not I understand.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I had a large family and have been around children all my life, I had many nieces and nephews from a very young age. I had 3 sons and two step sons of my own.
I have taught Sunday school and children’s church. I subbed in my school district and I also worked in a early childhood development class.
I have kept my new grandson the last year and a half and have always loved children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love reading to them and playing toys age appropriate . I love getting out and going to the park and taking walks with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love children and always have. I have been surrounded by children my entire life with a large family. They bring so much joy to our lives. I love watching them grow into their own little personality.
