More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I bring over a decade of experience in childcare and caregiving across a variety of settings. My journey began in 2014, working in the boys and girls club where I created fun and structured environments that fostered learning and play. I’ve also provided in-home respite care, offering personalized support for children with diverse needs, and worked in group homes, helping children and adults build independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Most recently, I worked as a behavior technician, specializing in behavior therapy to help children develop essential skills through patience, empathy, and evidence-based practices. These experiences have equipped me with a well-rounded understanding of individual needs and the ability to provide structured, compassionate, and engaging care tailored to your family’s goals.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love getting creative with kids and making learning fun! Cooking together is always a hit—whether we're making healthy snacks or experimenting with new recipes. I’m also a big fan of singing and laughing uncontrollably, so we often turn everyday moments into mini concerts or impromptu dance parties. Outdoor play is another favorite, whether it’s a walk in the park, a trip to the farm, or just a good old-fashioned game of tag. When we need a little quiet time, I enjoy reading books or doing arts and crafts projects that let their imaginations run wild. I also love tailoring activities to the kids’ individual interests, whether it’s exploring a favorite hobby or trying something new they’re excited about.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The best part about being a nanny is building meaningful connections with children and their families and watching them grow and thrive. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing their confidence bloom as they master new skills, express their creativity, or overcome challenges. Whether it’s celebrating their small victories, sharing uncontrollable giggles, or simply being someone they trust and look forward to spending time with, it’s those moments of pure joy and connection that make being a nanny so fulfilling.
My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive experience supporting children with special needs in various settings. Through in-home respite care, I’ve provided personalized support, focusing on each child’s unique abilities and creating a safe, nurturing environment. In group homes, I worked closely with children and adults with diverse developmental and behavioral challenges, helping them build independence and confidence in their daily lives.
As a behavior technician, I specialized in evidence-based therapy, guiding children in developing essential skills, managing behaviors, and reaching developmental milestones. My approach is rooted in patience, empathy, and adaptability, ensuring every child feels supported and empowered to thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a little boy I worked with decided he wanted to "help" me cook dinner. He put on the tiniest apron, grabbed a wooden spoon, and confidently declared himself the chef in charge. While we cooked together, he kept giving me “instructions” in the most serious tone, like, “Make sure you stir with love!” It was such a simple, joyful moment that reminded me how much kids thrive when they feel included and capable. By the end of it, we both couldn’t stop laughing, and he proudly told his parents he made the best pasta ever. Moments like these are why I love what I do!
