More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve always loved working with kids, and over the years I’ve built a lot of hands on experience. I worked in childcare as a teacher assistant, and I spent my summers helping at camps with children from preschool through eighth grade. I’ve also babysat and nannied for families throughout the years, which gave me a deeper understanding of children’s routines and different personalities. I enjoy making kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and have fun.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing both indoor and outdoor activities with kids. Indoors I love reading together, doing arts and crafts, STEM activities, building with blocks, baking simple treats, and playing fun learning games. Outdoors I enjoy taking walks, going to parks, playing ball games, blowing bubbles, and giving kids space to explore and burn energy. I like creating a mix of fun, creativity, and learning so they stay engaged and happy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is trust.
Parents trust you with their children, their home, and their routine. Children trust you to keep them safe, listen to them, and care for them. Without trust, nothing else works.
Right behind that is consistency. Kids thrive when they know what to expect. A good nanny shows up on time, follows through, sets clear limits, and stays calm during hard moments.
Safety, patience, and clear communication matter too. But trust is the foundation. When a family feels secure with you and a child feels safe with you, you are doing the job well.

My experience with special needs children...
Working as a preschool teacher assistant I worked with children who had autism, ADHD, speech delays, and developmental delays. I learned how to support their individual needs with patience, structure, and gentle guidance. I am comfortable helping with sensory breaks, communication, transitions, and creating a calm and supportive environment so each child can thrive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my proudest moments was helping a little one with potty training. One day, out of nowhere, she ran to the bathroom all by herself and said, “Look, I go to the bathroom, no pull-ups, Ms. Tanya!” My heart was so full that day seeing all the effort and patience finally pay off. She was only two and a half at the time
