I started watching children when my mom opened a daycare when I was 11. I babysat many families starting at age 12. I went to college for elementary education. I had both of my children in my 20’s. I continued to babysit for many friends and family

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy planning a variety of activities with children that support learning, creativity, and fun both indoors and outdoors. Inside, I like doing arts and crafts, reading books together, building with blocks or Legos, imaginative play, puzzles, baking simple recipes, and educational games that encourage problem solving and creativity. I also enjoy helping with homework and incorporating age-appropriate learning activities. Outside, I love taking children to parks and playgrounds, going on nature walks, riding bikes or scooters, playing sports and active games, visiting libraries or children’s museums, and exploring seasonal activities like gardening, chalk drawing, or water play in the summer. I try to create a balance of active play, creativity, and learning so children stay engaged and excited throughout the day.
