Hello! My name is Tara Hensell. I live in Middletown, Virginia. I have been working with kids of all ages since the age of 12. I started working at my church nursery caring for infants and toddlers. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I started working with kids at the age of 12, I worked in my church nursery in the infant and toddler room. Once I got a little older I started babysitting for family friends. As of right now I am babysitting Monday-Friday from 3-6pm. I can provide references if needed.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am a very patient and energetic person. I love playing games with children to increase creativity and physical education. I took two child care classes so I know how to entertain children while helping them learn at the same time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important job about watching children is patience and love. Every child I come across, immediately gets every bit of my attention. I love bringing them joy and watching them grow.

My experience with special needs children...

I have yet to work with special needs children, but in the child care classes I was in it taught me a little about caring for certain children with special needs. It requires a lot more patience and attention.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I enjoy all moments with all the kids I watch. Overall, my favorite moment working with any kid is figuring out what they like and realizing how no child is the same. I love the challenge that it can bring and how you can really connect with the child you're working with.
