The most important part about being a nanny...
Safety, and wellbeing would of course be the most important part! Aside from that, as a mom, I totally understand the anxiety of others caring for our babies, it’s hard! I do believe though that a parent with help means a more regulated, & more present parent. It very much takes a village & I believe in supporting parents and caregivers too! I also just love connecting with babies and kids, they really tend to gravitate to me & I just get so much joy from spending time with them, and caring for them. I have a strong focus on RIE, I believe in supporting babies and kids through their big feelings, & that they deserve our respect. I feel strongly that play is essential to learning, and I love playing with kids but I also love just observing their play and no when to let them lead.
