A little bit about me

I have been a preschool teacher for about 10 years and an outdoor educator for 3 years, since moving to oregon. I am crafty, creative, safety minded, and love performing arts, animals and the outdoors! My goal as a care giver is to empower children with confidence and curiosity. The confidence to express themselves and their needs, and to stand up for others, and the curiosity to learn as much as possible about the world around them. I have training in emotional regulation techniques, as well as problem solving and communication. I have worked with children who have specific medical, behavioral and mental health needs. I have worked in an outdoor survivalist summer camp for 3 summers now, and love to show children the great outdoors and all its wonders!
