More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I love children. I am always hands on with my siblings and little cousins. I have cared for a baby as young as 3weeks old. I have always loved being around children because their spirits is so carefree and fun. I also love being able to mentor and have a positive impact on people around me especially the newest generations!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to color with children. I love to read books with and to children. Teaching kids how to better pronounce words or learn new ones always excites me because I know how it feels to not be able to fluently or confidently read something out loud but when you’re reassured that you’re doing it right, it makes kids more interested in learning new things and reading. I also love photography so if children ever want to be included in a concept photo shoot I am always happy to try to include them as best I can. Lastly, I love to go to the park. Nature is something I truly adore and to be able to experience that with kids is amazing especially because nowadays there is a lot of technology in the word and we sometimes forget to ground ourselves and enjoy free beautiful scenery!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have yet to get an actual job in the nanny field but I do know that one the most important things about caring for children is making sure they are safe. Safety is my number one priority and then fun!!! :)
My experience with special needs children...
I have two cousins and my family that have special needs. I am not able to be around them as much as I would like, but when I am around them I cater to their every day needs and also showed interest in the things that you enjoy the most. For example, one of my cousins loves Beyoncé. Every time she’s overstimulated or is having a breakdown Beyoncé is always there to calm her down. And because I see the impact, Beyoncé has on her, I always try to show interest went around her to make sure she feels she’s in a concert and not just being sat in front of a tv to be calmed down.
