More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
When I was 14 - 15 my first job experience was working with kids between the ages of 5-13 at a summer camp through step up city of minneapolis. The most recent job I was at also involved me working with kids between the ages of 3-10. Most of my experience involved interacting with the kids, making sure they were safe and having a good time. When I worked at the summer camp I also was tasked with serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Along with a plethora of other things!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
A few activists I like to do are: Arts and crafts, going on walks/being in nature, parks, board games, and whatever else the child/children in my care may enjoy that’s safe and age appropriate!
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part about being a nanny is the impact you can have on a family especially children! Kids go through so much in life and sometimes families just need extra support, I love being able to lend that extra hand!
My experience with special needs children...
At my last job we walked all kids of all backgrounds! There were a few kids with special needs I made sure to go out of my way to ensure they were having a great time and safe in my care, but also had the freedom and independence to play with others or themselves. Every child is different and has different needs so I make sure I get to know that child first and move accordingly to what their needs may be.
