More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered at many elementary schools, reading to children and helping them learn about a specific subject. I’ve also babysat some kids in my family for quite some time. I’m looking more into doing a travel volunteer program to travel to another country and volunteering in childcare to those in need. I have babysat my coworkers kids and helped them with their homework and meal time. Overall, I always have a great time with them and love seeing kids grow into their own person.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

arts and crafts, board games, puzzles, watching movies, making fun snacks, playing with dolls, playing with trucks or trains, I enjoy any sort of activity that doesn’t involve dangerous, flammable activity.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure not only the kids are comfortable and feel safe, but also the parents and entire household. It’s a blessing to be trusted and hired by someone to take care of their kids, that trust really needs to be built up. Especially when you will be watching the kids for quite some time, and there needs to be a certain bond set and boundaries. You need to love kids and be happy in order to maintain this job and I absolutely love it.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I bring the kids I babysit a set of crafts or activities that we could do. They tend to get super excited especially since the craft is something they really enjoy. I was babysitting this one little boy for a while, and he loved dinosaurs and so for a craft, I brought him these wooden dinosaur figurines and we painted them however he liked. He was the happiest boy be really expressed his creativity.
